‘TIME TO CRACK DOWN ON YOUNG THUGS’

LOCAL political representatives have called on the PSNI to crack down on a gang which has been making people’s lives a misery in areas of Carnmoney and Glengormley.

The gang, which goes by the name Anarchy 36 (A36), is thought to have been responsible for numerous incidents of vandalism, criminal damage and other offences over the past couple of years.

District Policing Partnership Chairman, councillor Barbara Gilliland, commented: “There are serious concerns regarding the apparent ease with which this gang can wreak havoc in the area. It really is time for a more robust approach by the police so that people are not being terrorised by young thugs who seem to be a law unto themselves.”
