THE Glengormley Townswomen Guild’s October meeting featured guest speaker the Reverend David Erwin and his wife Maureen.

The couple gave the members a Powerpoint show on their recent China Odyssey.

Members said their photography was amazing showing in great detail the magnificent architecture and diversity of lifestyles of the great country.

They were thanked for their time by the guild’s chairman Rita McAuley who presented them with a cheque for their work in Malawi.

Treasurer Carole Pearson and secretary Ann Adams attended this year’s NCM in Birmingham.

They enjoyed renewing friendships with members of the mainland guilds, with whom they had previous meetings.

The November meeting will be in Glengormley Presbyterian Church Hall on Tuesday, November 20 at 8pm and visitors will be very welcome.
