Burst water main causing ‘long delays’ on Shore Road

Motorists are advised to expect travel disruption due to a burst water main on the A2 Shore Road.

A Department for Infrastructure spokesperson said: “A burst water main at the junction with Mount Vernon heading out of town has taken Lane 1 out.

“All traffic is being filtered through straight ahead/right turn shared Lane 2. There are long delays this evening leaving the city. Seek an alternative route if you can.”
