Tributes have been paid to seven-year-old Jackson Turner from Carrickfergus, who died following a crash in Newtownabbey on Boxing Day.

The collision involving three cars happened on the Old Carrick Road at around 6.30pm.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Cllr Thomas Hogg said: “My heartfelt prayers and condolences go to the family of Jackson Turner, who was tragically killed in this collision. My thoughts are with all injured in the collision and I hope that they will make a full recovery.”
