The people of Jordanstown and Newtownabbey will benefit greatly from the arrival of a new family who have been appointed to serve in the community.

Johnny and Emma Brown and their children will be honoured at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown by Dr Cecil Stewart OBE on Saturday September 7 at 7:30pm. They will be celebrating a new season in their lives.

Pastor Johnny and his wife have a passion and love for people and they can’t wait to get started in Jordanstown.

Pastor Johnny has been the Senior Pastor in Portadown Elim Church for many years and has seen the congregation grow to around 600 people.

On Saturday September 7, he will take up his new post as Associate Pastor at Jordanstown Christian Centre, Whiteabbey, alongside Dr Cecil Stewart OBE, a well known Missionary, Evangelist, Businessman and Television Broadcaster.

Pastor Johnny will also strengthen an already vibrant team at the Dream Centre based at the Edenmore Complex, 646 Shore Road, Whiteabbey.

Dream Centre reaches out to hurting and broken young people who struggle with anxiety, depression and suicidal tendencies.

Many young people have already been helped over the past two years as Julie Ochterbeck from Huston, Texas and her team have poured love and hope into their lives.

Those who once were victims of drug and alcohol abuse have been transformed but the need is vast in Newtownabbey and Belfast where the team have been working.

Dream Centre Belfast is associated with the highly regarded Dream Centre in Los Angeles led by Tommy and Matthew Barnett, where they look after thousands of people each day.

Everyone is welcome to attend the induction event at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown on Saturday September 7 at 7:30pm.

Food and celebration will be enjoyed by all as the Browns arrive in the Jordanstown area.
