Ballyeaston based drama group ‘Shine’ is hosting a youth event, ‘Shine Rocks’ on Saturday, October 1, at 2nd Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church.

The event, the first of its kind for the drama group, is aimed at young people in Year 8 and above, and its organisers are looking forward to an exciting evening.

Shine Rocks will be an all-standing concert involving some well known local artists. Headlining will be David Paul and The People.

Fronted by Northern Irish singer/songwriter David Paul and supported by friends and fellow musicians ‘The People’, this brand new band promises to deliver a refreshing alternative edge to contemporary Christian music.

Soon to launch their debut album entitled “Signs of the Times”, the band has already accrued an assured following of fans via their facebook bandpage (http://listn.to/davidpaulandthepeople).

Shine is keen to open its doors to all young people as they prepare for this hotly anticipated event. Tickets are only £2 and are available by emailing: shine.drama.group@gmail.com or telephoning 079201 03981.
