£500 grant for New Mossley Community Group

The money will help meet insurance costs for an older people’s group, along with an outing to Newcastle including a meal.

At the council’s monthly meeting last week, members were informed that the total budget available for Small Grants for the 2016/2017 financial year is £9,500.

The meeting heard that the total amount of financial assistance awarded to date is £4,400, leaving a balance of £5,100 to fund future applications that may be submitted to the council during the remainder of the 2016/17 financial year.
