Colleagues bid fond farewell to Anne

A long-serving member of staff at Antrim and Newtownabbey Council was bid a fond farewell after almost 40 years service recently.

Anne Craig retired from her job on Friday, April 8, having served the local community for 38 years. She started work with the council when it was based in Ballyclare Town Hall in 1978.

During her time with the local authority, Anne worked in a number of areas, but her main role was in the cemeteries department. During her time in the department, Anne built up a good relationship with undertakers both locally and further afield.

The Ballyclare woman and her family are robust and proactive supporters of the 1 in 3 Cancer Support Group charity.
