Monkstown charity event raises £3,710
More than £3,700 was raised for a great cause at a recent charity event in Monkstown.
The annual ‘Monkstown Walk in Memory of Grace’ raised £3,710 for Pretty ‘n’ Pink breast cancer charity.
The charity provides practical help to breast cancer patients and their families, helping with things such as help with travel costs to and from hospital appointments, respite breaks and help with home heating and utility bills. They also fund social events for patients including nights out to the Grand Opera House.
The charity has thanked Shirley and Paul Logan and all involved in organising the walk, Monkstown Social Club, local businesses and everyone who took part and donated.
