Carnmoney District LOL No 25 has presented Newtownabbey Borough Council with a specially engraved mirror to thank the local authority for its help with hosting this year’s East Antrim Combine Twelfth celebration at the Valley Park.

Carnmoney District Master Albert Steele handed over the thank you gift, which depicts the District’s banner, to council officers and members at Mossley Mill.

Among those in attendance at the event were Orange Order representatives, Mayor Fraser Agnew, councillors Robert Hill and John Scott and council officers and staff.

“We just wanted to thank the council for all the assistance from the staff and workers over the last 12 months regarding the Twelfth of July celebration. They helped us with all aspects of the event, including providing facilities at the field and erecting signage,” Mr Steele commented.
