A FANTASTIC Family Fun Day will take place in the grounds of Doagh Methodist Church on Sunday, June 24 (4.30pm - 9pm).

Organised by the church’s Youth Fellowship, it is hoped that the free event will encourage people, young and old, to join in the fun and perhaps find out more about the little church just off Main Street.

There will be lots on offer for all ages, including live music, face painting, bouncy castle and a BBQ at 5.30pm. It’s all free, and with the Youth Fellowship organising it, it is bound to be a lively afternoon.

Fun Day organiser Ryan McMillan commented: “We are hoping that the people of Doagh and beyond will come along on Sunday (June 24) and enjoy the Fun Day. We are a small church that always gives a big welcome and we hope our Fun Day will be a first event at the church for many people locally.

“Some people in Doagh and the surrounding area may not know that we are here, so the Fun Day will help to raise awareness about the church and will be a great event for the local community to enjoy.”

The Youth Fellowship (members aged 8 years and up) meets every Sunday night in the Methodist Church in Doagh at 7.30pm.
