A BRAVE fight back by Donacloney was not enough to earn them a share of the spoils at Lurgan Park on Saturday.

'Cloney fell behind in the first half when a spectacular long range drive handed the visitors the lead.

A scrappy goal made it 2-0 and a strike from the penalty spot virtually ended the tie.

But Cloney didn't give up and a low cross from Kyle Scott was converted by Andy Wells to hand the locals a way back into the match.

They were then unfortunate to have a goal ruled out with the referee deeming that the ball had not crossed the line despite protests from Donacloney that it had.

HOPE

A goal from Aaron McMullan gave Donacloney hope late on in the match but a further Lisnastraine goal put any further comebacks to the sword.

New boy Roberto Nyakana added a third for Donacloney just before the end but it was to prove to be too little, too late.
