Cul Camp to be held in August at Pairc Na Naomh

THE Ballela Cul Camp will take place in Ballela from Monday August 24 to Friday August 28.
It runs each day from 10am to 2pm and is open for any child aged 7-14. The cost is £30 per child and application forms are now available. There will be qualifed coaches there and each child will receive a jersey, shorts, socks and kit bag.

ek’s lotto numbers were 4, 12, 20 and 22. £10 winners were J Nelson, S Lavery, C Doyle while the sellers prize went to S Burns.

South Down played Donegal on Sunday in the Lory Meagher Cup semi final in Ballela. South Down were defeated by a point scored in injury time to leave the final score South Down 2.11 Donegal 1.15. Mal Magee from Ballela scored one point and Gary McMullan was the sub goalkeeper.

There was no senior games last week. Ballela’s next game is on Wednesday night against Warrenpoint.

The Under 12's travelled to Warrenpoint on friday night in the last round of league games. Warrenpoint won the game but not before a great second half display from this young team when they scored 2.02 in a five minute period.

The under 10's are away to Newry Shamrocks on Saturday for a blitz. Warrenpoint will also be taking part. Time to be confirmed at training on Thurday night.

The club would like to pass on their condolences to the familly of Daniel Andre, from the Clonduff club, who died tragically in an accident last week.
