BANBRIDGE began last Saturday's encounter at Rushmore well, dominating the play, but were caught on numerous occasions by Lisburn's offside trap.
However, eventually the breakthrough came after 20 minutes when Declan Loy drove a low shot past the
Lisburn keeper from 10 yards.
Lisburn responded well and only a few minutes later equalised from a corner kick, taking advantage of slack marking by the Banbridge defence.
Early in the second half Lisburn went ahead again from a corner kick.
Banbridge weren't to be deterred and started pressurising the Lisburn defence and were now reading the offside trap better.Josh Cargin equalised with a low shot past the keeper and then minutes later ran on to a good through pass and placed a delightful lob over the advancing keeper's head.
Niall Scullion nearly added a fourth when he followed up a Josh Cargin shot which the keeper had blocked but the keeper saved well at the second chance.
Josh Cargin completed his hat-trick when he again beat the offside trap and took the ball calmly around the keeper to give Banbridge a comfortable 4-2 victory and 10 points from the last 12.
