LOCAL children had the chance to meet their rugby heroes during a week of non-stop fun recently when they took part in an Ulster Rugby Summer Camp at Banbridge Rugby Club.
Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by independent retail group Centra, are taking place at twenty different province-wide locations this summer and will cater for almost 1,700 children.

Dozens of boys and girls aged 6-13 years attended the local
five day camp and met Ulster Rugby stars Nigel Bardy and Matt McCullough, while learning new skills under the supervision of qualified coaches. Participants also received a Summer Camp back pack with T-shirt, cap, water bottle and mini rugby ball.

Local boys and girls who took part in the Banbridge RFC summer camp are pictured with Ulster Rugby players Nigel Brady and Matt McCullough, rear centre, Camp Manager Mark Robinson, far left, Karen McIlroy, Centra Loughbrickland, David Wilton, Centra Banbridge Church Street, second from right and Eddie Stewart, Centra Banbridge Scarva Road, who were on hand to represent the camp sponsor Centra.

Ulster Rugby has announced that places are still available at the Summer Camp taking place at Newry RFC from August 4-8. For further information or to register (£75 per child) email summercamps@ulsterrugby.com or telephone 028 9049 3111.
