MEMBERS of the Rathfriland Motorcycle Club are always looking for a good excuse to get out on their bikes for a run and if they can do someone or something a good turn while doing it, well that's always an added incentive.
Over the past 15 years the Club has raised money for many good causes that have helped mankind, but this one will help man's best friend and his mates.

The club is organising a ride out with hopefully a fully laden vehicle of food and gifts over t
o the Newry branch of the RSPCA on August 6.

The intention is to leave Rathfriland Town Square at approximately 7pm and they ask anyone who would like to join them, either on a bike or in their car to please come along.

They will be grateful for any donations from all you animal lovers either on the night prior to leaving the square or at their other collection points in Rathfriland, Banbridge, Ballynahinch and Newcastle.

For details on collection points or other Club information please contact the Club Secretary, Kirk Hanlon on (028) 4376 7145.

Club Events still to come:-

July 29 - Club Charity Run (Rathfriland Health Centre – Equipment Fund)

August 19 - Club Run

TBC - Summer Dinner

September 16 - Club Run

October 5 - John Ingram Memorial Motorcycle Charity Run (MacMillan Cancer Support)

Monthly Club meetings held every second Wednesday night in The Old George, Rathfriland at 8pm. Everyone is very welcome.
