BANBRIDGE Town will be hoping it's third time lucky when they take on Armagh City tonight (Tuesday, Holm Park, 7.45pm).
Following the referee's strike which forced the cancellation of the Donegal Celtic game two weeks ago and the postponement of Saturday's game with Tobermore due to the torrential rain which wiped out virtually every football match in the country Town
boss Colin Malone will be eager to get back into action at the third attempt at one of his old stomping grounds.
Malone led City to First Division glory back in 2005, going undefeated during the entire league campaign.
But with City's pitch sodden by the weekend's weather, more rain falling on Monday and the prospect of more to come today there is a good chance that there could be no action at all. Be sure to check www.banbridgeleader.co.uk and www.dromoreleader.co.uk for updates.
And it doesn't get any easier for Town on Saturday when they host last year's First Division champions Loughgall at Crystal Park (3pm).
The two sides played out a number of well-battled duels last season, most notiably in the final of the Mid Ulster Cup at Holm Park when it took extra time to seperate the two teams. Loughgall went on to win the cup as they completed a clean sweep of trophies.
This year the Villagers have bolstered their squad with the addition of former Town players Ricky Copeland and Ally Evans to their line up.
