Ballyclare gear up for Portora

HAVING cruised past Rainey Endowed in the third round, Ballyclare High School's first XV will be looking for a repeat performance for the visit of Portora Royal on Saturday.

The Northern Bank Ulster Schools' Cup fourth round clash promises to be a barnstorming affair as both teams look to progress to the quarter-final stages of the competition.

The strong Ballyclare side will be aware their Enniskillen opponents will be no pushovers, having battled hard for victory against Down High in round three.

The home captain, David Clarke, will be a key figure at number eight while scrum-half Chris Millar and full back Chris Harvey (pictured) could also have big parts to play in the game.

The match kicks off at 11.30am. See next week's Times for full coverage.
