Five-star Nortel beat Drum with ease

NORTEL romped to a 5-0 home win over Drumaness Mills in Division 1A of the Amateur League on Tuesday night.

Goals from Dale Fenner, Kyle Agnew (2), Mark Wilkinson and Gareth Bond helped Jamesy Kirk's side to an emphatic victory at the Factory Grounds.

Ryan McCartney's Rathfern Rangers suffered a 2-1 defeat to Holywood at the Diamond.

Nicky Sharples scored his second penalty in two games but could not prevent his Barn United side losing 2-1 at home to East Belfast while Larne Tech Old Boys went down 2-0 to Shankill United.

In Division 1C Glen McIntyre's Mossley YM won 2-0 against Kilroot Rec and Sammy Smith's Newington Rangers put four past Dromore Amateurs without reply.

Paul Cargill's 18th Newtownabbey Old Boys suffered another defeat going down 3-0 at home to Ballywalter Rec.
