Agnew nets twice as Comrades see off PSNI

Ballyclare made it back-to-back wins in Championship 1 with a 4-0 win at basement side PSNI.

A Kyle Agnew double and strikes from Joel Cooper and Randal Reid gave the Comrades three points at a rain-soaked Newforge on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors got the ball rolling with just five minutes in the clock when Agnew scored from the edge of the area after good work from Reid.

Cooper doubled Ballyclare’s advantage 10 minutes before the break when he pounced on a defensive mix-up.

Reid added number three on 55 minutes and things went from bad to worse for the home side when Lucas Adamczyk saw red.

Agnew netted his second in the afternoon in time added on.
