Ballynure Old Boys’ David Higgins has made the switch to Amateur league side Islandmagee.

Higgins, who can play right wing or up front, becomes the Islanders’ tenth summer signing and follows his brother, Ricky, to Wilbourne Park.

Manager Stephen King said: “I am so excited to get David over the line. He has been one of my top targets all summer.

“Hee arrives from Ballynure where he won Player of the Year, Players’ Player and Young Player of the Year. I can’t wait to see him in the red of Islandmagee.”
