Mossley bring curtain down on a memorable season at The Glade

Mossley FC brought the curtain down on their most successful season in Intermediate football with their annual awards night held in Carrickfergus Sailing Club.

The Newtownabbey side will play their football in Division 1b next season, after finishing second in Division 1C.

Mossley went into the last week of the season still in with a chance of winning the league but, in the end, they were pipped at the post by Downshire YM.

There was also that memorable Intermediate Cup run which really put Mossley on the map, taking the notable scalps of Dergview, Sport and Leisure Swifts, Comber Rec and AFC Craigavon.
