Championship 1 leaders Bangor had too much for 10-man Ballyclare Comrades as they emerged as 3-1 winners at Clandeboye Park.
Joel Cooper had put the Reds one up after 15 minutes, but goals from Andy Morrow, Colin Nixon and Mark Cooling meant the Seasiders took another step in their march towards the league title.
Ballyclare’s Andrew Doyle was sent off for picking up two yellow cards.
Going into the match on the back of a confidence-boosting 3-0 win over the Welders, it had all looked so good for David Dorrian’s charges when Chris Trussell set up Cooper who smashed the ball into the roof of the net from close range.
But Morrow levelled matters when he beat Paddy Flood from a tight angle and that’s how it stayed at the break.
The second half belonged to Bangor and veteran defender Nixon edged his team in front, heading home from a Cooling free-kick.
The home side’s third came from the penalty spot with Cooling smashing the ball past Flood after Doyle had picked up a second caution for handball.
