New Ballynure Old Boys boss Ronnie Burns has moved quickly to bolster his squad.

Left-back Craig Richardson joins the Ballymena and Provincial League side from Ballyclare Comrades, while goalkeeper Neil Hamilton, formerly of Crusaders, has also put pen to paper.

Sammy Duff returns for a second spell at the club, while the versatile Matthew West has joined from Moyola Park.

Burns told the Times: “I’ll be concentrating on bringing in a couple of front men and if I do that I believe we’ll be stronger than the previous campaign.

“We’ve lost a few players in the Higgins brothers and Anthony Hill, but I think a fresh approach is what the club needs to move forward. I’m relishing the coming season.”
