Grange gear up for new campaign

It has been a very busy pre-season Amateur League outfit Grange Rangers with new manager Paul McAllister and assistant, Alan Hunter, bringing in some new faces for the club’s assault on Division 2B, following last year’s relegation.

While the pre-season training schedule has been tough, Rangers bagged solid wins against Shorts and Newington Rangers, as well as a creditable draw against Iveagh United. The Foundry Lane men also fell to narrow defeats to Kelvin Old Boys and 18th Newtownabbey.

Their season kicks off on September 1 with their opposition to be revealed on Monday. On 15th September, Grange will travel to Co Tyrone in the IFA Junior Cup to face Ardstraw of the Fermanagh and Western League.
