JBE LEAGUE CUP: Comrades 2 Wakehurst 1

Ballyclare Comrades booked their place in round two of the JBE League Cup thanks to a 2-1 win over Wakehurst.

Adam McCart scored the winner in Ballyclare's 2-1 victory over Wakehurst.

Ballyclare’s Gary Brown opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Wakehurst levelled matters with 21 minutes gone.

That’s how it stayed until the 64th minute when Adam McCart headed home what turned out to be the winning goal from a corner.
