McCullough pleased with UUJ display
Amateur League: UUJ came ever so close to a third successive clean sheet at Lisburn Rangers on Saturday but Peter McCann’s late winner sees them remain bottom of Division 1A.
UUJ boss Shane McCullough explained: “It was a really good move that broke us down. Paul Kirk said afterwards he was impressed with how we played and how hard we were to get through.
“I’m really pleased with the application; we deserved something from the game. They took their one good chance, whereas we squandered ours.”
Next up for UUJ is an Intermediate Cup clash with Lower Maze.
