Newtownabbey’s Craig Cathcart, Jonny Evans and Corry Evans have been named in the Northern Ireland squad for next week’s friendly against Latvia.

The trio are part of Michael O’Neill’s 23-man panel for the Friday night match at Windsor Park (November 13).

Cathcart, who plies his trade with Premier League side Watford, scored the opener in last month’s 1-1 draw over Finland in Helsinki.

Defenders: Chris Baird, Gareth McAuley, Jonny Evans, Craig Cathcart, Shane Ferguson, Lee Hodson, Conor McLaughlin.
