Midfielder Corry Evans is targeting a spot in the Northern Ireland squad for this summer’s European Championships.

The Newtownabbey native, a product of Greenisland FC, plays his club football for Championship side Blackburn Rovers. And he admits he’s got one eye on making the cut for manager Michael O’Neill’s panel.

“With everything I do now, always at the back of my mind I’m thinking towards the Euros. You want to get yourself the best possible chance to be in the squad and to be on the plane to be going to that major tournament in France,” he said.
