HOCKEY: Hamill and Steele answer Ulster's call against Scots

Mossley Hockey Club had two representatives in the Ulster U16 squad who took on Scotland U16 at the University of Ulster Jordanstown at the weekend.

Stephen Hamill and Matthew Steele were selected to represent their Province in the three-match series.

The home side notched up three wins with results of 5-0, 3-0 and 2-1 across the weekend to win the series 3-0. Mossley Hockey Club would like to congratulate the players on their hard work and dedication which is a real credit to the junior hockey coaches at Mossley Hockey Club.

In other East Antrim hockey news, Carrick Ladies Hockey Club and Greenisland Ladies could be set to merge.

The two clubs have agreed to the move which would require approval from Ulster Hockey.
