Mossley Hockey Club Golf Society (right) visited Carrickfergus Golf Club for their annual charity day in aid of CLIC Sargent, raising an impressive £1,200 in the process.
This was the sixth year that the society has been involved with CLIC Sargent which is the UK’s leading cancer charity for young people and their families. It provides clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
An excellent turnout of 38 members and guests enjoyed a superb round of golf and meal back at Mossley, raising over £1,200 for the charity.
The individual winner on the day was Stephen Heaney, while the team prize was won by the fourball of Simon Burns, Roy McAlpine, Alan Ramsay and Steve Monroe. The society would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the day.
