City of Belfast Golf Club captain Gordon Corry held his Captain’s Day competition on Saturday, June 28.
More than 80 members and visitors took part in the event, which was sponsored by Kingspan.
Eight handicapper Stephen Steele was the overall winner of the captain’s prize with a fine score of 40 points. He took first place just ahead of David Startin (40 points), courtesy of a better back nine.
Gordon Buchanan (38 pts) took third place overall, while James Hutchinson (38 pts) finished fourth.
A delighted Stephen Steele also won the past captains’ prize and the best gross category.
During his speech at the prize presentation dinner at the Chimney Corner Hotel, Gordon Corry thanked everyone who helped make the day a great success.
