RUGBY: Ballyclare to host President’s Dinner

Ballyclare Rugby Club will host its annual President’s Dinner on Friday (January 11) with invited guests from various clubs throughout the Province.

And on Saturday a big crowd is expected at The Cloughan for the visit of Enniskillen. The ‘Skins are lying in third position behind Qualifying 2 leaders Ballyclare and second-placed Bangor, so a keen contest is anticpated.

Bangor have two games in hand, so ‘Clare officials see this as a must-win fixture in order to enhance their position at the summit.

Ballyclare progressed in the Towns’ Cup at the weekend, seeing off Ards II with a 45-0 win. Full match report in this week’s Times.
