RATHCOOLE pool player Sara Greenberg has been crowned the 2013 Northern Ireland Ladies’ Individual Champion.

Sara lifted the title in the Bangor recently to cap what has been a fantastic few weeks for her after she played her part in the Monkstown ‘Hit Man and Her’ team’s Knock Out Cup win in the Carrick and District Pool League.

Ranked number two in Northern Ireland, her victory guarantees her an automatic spot in the NI Ladies’ ‘A’ squad for the European Championships in March.

Sara, supported by Newtownabbey Borough Council, made her way to the final with 5-2, 5-1 and 5-2 wins before defeating Newtownards’ Alex Babb 5-4 to become the 2013 Ladies’ Blackball champion.
