Reid to step down at end of season

BALLYNURE OB Football Club are on the lookout for a new manager.

Current boss Robert Reid reckons that he has held the reins for long enough, and he intends to step down at the end of the season.

"So we are now in the process of seeking a successor," stated club President, Michael Graham.

"We are a well organised and ambitious club," he continued. "We have a progressive youth programme, and we field three adult teams each weekend. The person appointed will be in charge of the senior side in the Ballymena Premier League.

"We have won league titles and cups and generally speaking we are always in the running for honours, so now we are inviting applications from someone who can carry on from here, and perhaps take us to a higher level.

"The ideal person would have some managerial experience with contacts to bring in new players, but we await a response to this announcement," he concluded.

Anyone interested in applying should get in touch with the Ballynure Chairman, Willie Strange, at 9334 1132.
