North Belfast-born poet Adrian Rice will be reading from his new collection of poems, Hickory Station, at No Alibis bookshop on Botanic Avenue this weekend.
Adrian’s previous collections include The Clock Flower and The Mason’s Tongue.
He is also the editor (with Angela Reid) of A Conversation Piece, a book of poems in response to visual art.
Originally from Rathcoole, Adrian is currently based in Hickory, North Carolina.
There will also be music by Brian Houston, whose most recent album Songs from my Father was released earlier this year.
The event will take place on July 2 at 7:30pm.
