SHE has endured a Bad Romance and a hefty bill from the butchers, but Newtownabbey woman Debbie Bradley has been enjoying the adulation of Lady Gaga’s monsters.
Lady Gaga has become a chart phenomenon reaching the top of the pops with mega hits such as ‘The Edge of Glory’, ‘Born this Way’ and ‘Paparazzi’.
Debbie has been touring as the American diva for the past year and a half at various venues throughout Northern Ireland, down south and across Britain.
The 34-year-old, who also sings in the band Rio with her husband Glenn, said her love for the Poker Face superstar led her to set up the tribute act.
“I had two boys and for a while just lost myself with being a mother and I just decided that I wanted to do a Lady Gaga tribute act.
“I love her music and her shows are so theatrical. With Rio I would cover anyone’s songs but I wanted to concentrate on Lady Gaga.
“My friends didn’t believe I was going to do it until they saw me on stage for the first time and since then I haven’t looked back,” she said.
Debbie (nee Davies), who is from the Doagh Road area and attended Hopefield High School, has spent thousands of pounds on recreating the eclectic looks of Lady Gaga.
