A local student was one of 18 young people from across the province to complete the NI Graduate Enterprise Programme in February 1988.
Jennifer Shaw received the award for her work with fashion and interior accessories.
During the 16-week course, which was administered by the Northern Ireland Small Business Institute and sponsored by the Department of Economic Development, the graduates were given intense instruction in business theory. They also experienced practical field work with tutorial support.
She received her certificate from Industry Minister, Mr Peter Viggers.
He said: “ I am particularly pleased to see some of our brightest young people, in the form of our graduates, entering into business in this way.”
