Surf’s up as Coast comes to Carnmoney

Carnmoney Presbyterian Church will host a major youth event aimed at 11 to 18 year olds this weekend.

Coast will be run over three nights from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 March and will be a beach themed event.

It will include a beach volleyball court, surf simulator, limbo dancing, cocktail bar, sandcastle making, ice cream van, live music, videos, DJs, competitions and lots more. Special guests will include Paul Marshall of Ulster Rugby, Howard Beverland - Captain, Coleraine FC and local hip hop artist ‘Desert Voice Calling’.

Carnmoney’s Youth Associate, Rick Hill, said: “This is a really exciting event. We are bringing the beach to Carnmoney in winter! We hope to have a great time with the young people and we are encouraging them to bring their friends so that we can reach out into the community and share our faith.”

Coast will run from 7.30pm to 10pm each night at Carnmoney Church and admission is free.
