ARDENT fans of the celebrity chef and star of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen Live show, James Martin, will be thrilled to hear that he is set to make a return to the borough next month.

The top chef will be at award winning Barnabys restaurant in Ballyrobert to demonstrate his cooking skills and dish out top tips and recipes on Tuesday, September 20 and Wednesday, September 21.

James Martin has become a good friend of Barnabys over recent years and is delighted to be returning to these parts. He told the Newtownabbey Times that he has a few new tricks up his sleeve for when he arrives back in the borough!

Tickets to James Martin’s extremely entertaining cooking demonstrations are priced at just £30 per person but be warned, they are selling fast, so do be quick to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be purchased at Barnabys restaurant which is open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm.

On this visit to Newtownabbey, James is also hosting a very special charity event on Thursday, September 22, for a unique and limited audience, when he will be preparing a banquet for his guests - all cooked and prepared by himself and the chefs at Barnabys. The event will raise funds for the recently opened Elisabeth Svendsen Trust riding therapy centre near Ballyrobert.
