Benefit fraudster convicted

A TEMPLEPATRICK woman was convicted at Belfast Crown Court on May 2 for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.

Kim Arlow (48), of Antrim Road, claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £23,968 while failing to declare she was living with her partner. She was given a 12 month prison sentence suspended for three years.

She will also have to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
