POLICE have issued a warning about bogus callers after an incident in Glengormley last Thursday, September 6.
A male caller to a house in Collinbridge Drive told the elderly woman who lives there a football had been kicked into her back garden.
He went into the house with the woman and they both went into the back garden to get the ball.
After he left it was discovered that a handbag containing cash had been stolen and four rooms had been searched.
It is thought another person had entered the house and carried out the theft, which happened at around 1pm.
Police have appealed for information and can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
