Glengormley businesswoman Lisa Hamilton, from Bailies Auto Refinishers, was invited by Young Enterprise to Mossley Mill during Global Entrepreneurship Week to talk to 150 school pupils about running a business.
Lisa spoke about running her business for the past seven years, the challenges she faced with the changing market conditions and how she had to diversify, turning her accident repair garage into a ‘one-stop car shop’.
She also explained how Bailies Auto Refinishers now holds regular ‘How to do it’ motor charity evenings, where people can learn how to look after their vehicles.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest campaign to celebrate entrepreneurship. Each year it plays a critical role in encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs to consider starting up a business.
