Church considers Christian response to depression

Over 300,000 people across Ireland suffer from depression, affecting most families and communities.

Trinity Reformed Presbyterian Church in Newtownabbey is holding a public meeting outlining a Christian response to depression.

Speaking at the meeting is Rev Robert Robb who suffered a severe bout of depression some years ago.

Rev Robb will be speaking from his own experience of having depression and will identify some of the causes of the illness.

He will also describe some of the steps he took which he found helpful in eliminating his depression.

The public meeting is free and will include an opportunity for questions and discussion.

It is planned for Wednesday, March 28 at 8pm in Trinity Reformed Presbyterian Church, 560 Doagh Road, Newtownabbey.
