Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a house in the Parkmount Road area of Mallusk.
Commenting on the incident, Detective Inspector Millar said: “It was reported that sometime around 11:30 on Wednesday, February 22, an attempt was made to enter a house by the front window, with damage being caused to the frame. The would-be burglar was disturbed by the house holder and then left the area in the direction of Templepatrick.
“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, including the movements of a white or blue car, or have information about the incident to contact detectives at Antrim on 101, quoting 425 22/02/17.
