Newtownabbey police bid to return stolen bike to owner

Police officers in Newtownabbey have issued an appeal on social media in a bid to reunite a stolen bike with its owner.

Urging anyone who believes the bicycle belongs to them to contact police, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police have recovered a bicycle that was stolen from a garden in the Monkstown area of Newtownabbey in the early hours of February 24.

“If you believe this to be yours, please contact police on 101, quoting reference CC2021022400011 so that we can return it to you.”

Last montht the Newtownabbey Times reported that police had launched an investigation following a burglary in the Lismenary Road area of Ballynure.
