Police probe cemetery burglary

Police are appealing for information after a number of items were stolen from a local cemetery.

It is understood the incident occurred sometime between 1pm on Saturday, March 3 and 8am on Monday, March 5 at Ballyclare Cemetery.

A PSNI spokesperson listed the stolen items as a CASE, three ton track machine mini digger, yellow in colour. VRM – JFZ8156 - value £35,000, INDESPENSION four wheel low bed trailer, VRM UEZ6811- value £4,000, one Echo leaf blower (red) - value £600, an Echo long reach hedgecutter (red) - value £350, a Red Bomb rotavator - value £200 and five Hitachi and Mitsubishi strimmers (black and red). They are valued at £400 each and have council serial numbers (13008,13014,13009,13433 and 13432) etched onto them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident reference number 176 5/3/18.
