Police step-up patrols after Ballyclare burglary
Detectives have launched an investigation following a burglary in the Ballyrobert Road area of Ballyclare.
The Times understands the incident occurred sometime between 8.30am and 12.30pm on Wednesday, July 21, but details were only made public by police today (July 28).
Appealing for information, a PSNI spokesperson said: “A number of household items, cash and pieces of jewellery were taken during the burglary.
“Were you in the area at the time? Did you notice any persons or vehicles not normally seen in the area? Have you any dash-cam footage which may assist police in their enquiries? The smallest piece of information could prove very helpful.
“Local police have been stepping up patrols in the local area to deter any further incidents. Please report any suspicious activity to police via 101 or 999 in an emergency.
“If you can assist, please contact detectives at Antrim CID via 101, quoting police reference number 845 21/07/2021.”
