Tools worth over £7k stolen from lorry in Ballynure

Police have launched an investigation following a burglary in the Lismenary Road area of Ballynure.

Officers believe the incident occurred sometime between 5.30pm on February 10 and 9am on February 12.

Appealing for information, a PSNI spokesperson said: “During this burglary a lorry was entered and tools to the value of around £7,300 were taken.

“This area of the Lismenary Road is quite rural. Did you notice anything suspicious? If you have any information which you believe may assist, please contact 101, quoting police reference number 408 of 12/02/21.”

Last week the Newtownabbey Times reported that police were appealing for information following a report of an attempted burglary in Ballyclare in the early hours of February 5.
