Witnesses sought after telehandler stolen from Belfast building site

Police are trying to trace the movements of a telehandler they believe was stolen from a building site in Belfast at the weekend.

Officers from Antrim District Support Team recovered the stolen Manitou telehandler valued at £38,000 from the Upper Hightown Road area of Glengormley yesterday (Monday).

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police believe that this handler was stolen from a building site in Belfast on the afternoon of Saturday, February 27.

“If anyone recalls seeing this machine on the move on Saturday at around 3pm, please make contact with the police on 101, quoting police reference number 461 of 27/02/21.”
